Admission
Why ESL?
All applicants to Kwantlen Polytechnic University, regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, must be able to take studies in the English language. First-year English is a requirement of all degree programs.
English Level
Students may be asked to show they can communicate in English (written and spoken) at an appropriate level.
Testing English Skills
Students who cannot show they have a high enough level of English must enroll in courses in Adult High School Completion (ABE), or Post Secondary Program Readiness (PSP), or English courses or English as a Second Language or English Language Training programs.
