Coaches

Donn Sparks brings over 20 years of professional coaching experience to the Eagles program. He is a BC Soccer Provincial Team Coach and has held this position for 15 years.  From 2007-2009 he held the position of Whitecaps Prospects U-18 women’s program coach and from 2000-2006, he held the position of Assistant Coach with the Langara Falcons women’s soccer team.

Donn is a Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and BC Soccer Learning Facilitator for all coach certification programs, holds a National Advanced Diploma with the NSCAA along with a CSA Provincial B License. As a player, Donn was a member of the U-23 Jamaican National Team and practice squad member with the Miami Fusion MLS team in Florida.

Joan McEachern is a former Canadian National team member and has been capped 33 times internationally. She has been the assistant coach of the women’s team since 2003 and is also a faculty member in the Economics Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
