Funding for Adult Basic Education Programs

Adult Basic Education Student Assistance Program (ABESAP)
This program is available to assist students who are upgrading their education in preparation for post-secondary level studies. Eligibility is determined on the basis of assessed financial need.

Eligible students will be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants studying either full or part-time in one of the following areas:

  • Qualifying Studies
  • English Language Studies (ELST)
  • Career Choices and Life Sucess (CCLS)
  • Adult Basic Education
  • Academic and Career Preparation (ACP)
  • Access Programs for People with Disabilities (APPD)

Financial need will be considered as a qualification.
