CFA Bootcamp

Kwantlen Polytechnic University is proud to offer the spring 2012 version of Kwantlen Finance:  CFA® Level I Exam Prep Bootcamp. This week long intensive event will help prepare you for the CFA® Level I exam in June. We have gathered together an impressive group of finance experts with years of experience in instruction in the areas of corporate finance, quantitative methods, economics, accounting, securities analysis, and portfolio management.  Sessions are conveniently located at Kwantlen's Richmond campus, accessible on the Canada Line. You will receive:

·     56 hours of face to face instruction
·     The Schweser Student Workook comprising all slides presented

      You will also be entitled to purchase the Schweser Essential Self Study Package for $379(US), a $599 value.

      During the Bootcamp, we provide instruction on all of the Learning Outcomes identified in the 2012 CFA® Level 1curriculum. We will closely follow the CFA® Institute assigned readings, and refer to the Schweser study notes.

      We will hold study seminars over the compressed week on the following topics covered in the CFA ® Level I exam (for scheduled times see chart below):

• Accounting – 14.0 hours                         
  
• Corporate Finance – 3.5 hours      
• Economics – 7.0 hours                  
• Ethics – 3.5 hours
• Investments – 10.5 hours
• Portfolio Management – 3.5 hours
• Statistics – 7.0 hours
