Nancy Caldwell
Nancy joined the faculty of Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 1991. She began her studies at Kwantlen in 1983 and was pleased to return to her alma mater after finishing a master's degree in Economics at Simon Fraser University. Since returning to Kwantlen Nancy has served as Chair of her department and was elected to a three-year term on the Kwantlen Board of Governors. Nancy has been active in promoting working conditions for post-secondary faculty within Kwantlen and at provincial and federal levels. She currently sits as a member of the Canadian Association of University Teachers' Women's Committee. Nancy has also been active in politics, running unsuccessfully for office in the 2004 and 2006 federal elections. Nancy has three grown children and lives in Vancouver.
