APPRENTICESHIP TECHNICAL TRAINING
To successfully achieve your journeyperson status thorough the apprenticeship system you are required to attend the prescribed in-school technical training as well as complete the practical training on the job. The technical training is designed to enhance the training you receive on the job and prepare you to write the Inter Provincial exam and earn your Inter Provincial Red Seal. The Red Seal identifies you as a qualified Journeyperson across Canada.
Classes fill on a first come first served basis. Plan now to schedule your technical training at times that meet your schedule as well as your employer’s. You should be planning a minimum of 6 months ahead to ensure you have a seat in the class you want.
