The purpose of this website will be to provide:
- factual information with respect to bargaining between the University and KFA
- easy access to alternative sources of information such as the KFA website and updates
- provincial government websites that address bargaining issues and fiscal mandates affecting our negotiations.
The fiscal mandate and the necessity of ensuring our collective agreements support and enhance our academic standing as a University will make a very challenging set of negotiations.
It is our intention that this website will allow you to be fully informed on the issues at the bargaining table, so that you can make informed decisions on the issues relevant to you. By providing access to clear and factual information we intend to give people as much information as possible and to minimize the uncertainty and confusion that can sometimes accompany the collective bargaining process.
