A Lasting Endowment
An Endowment provides monetary gifts which are intended to be kept permanently by the designated charity and invested to create income for the ongoing purpose of the endowment.
Establishing an endowment to benefit a Kwantlen student requires a minimum gift of $20,000, payable over one to five years. A portion of the interest generated from the fund (5%) is used to fund the student award. A $20,000 fund, therefore, would create an annual award of $1000.
