Kwantlen Español

Hola, welcome to our Kwantlen Spanish page!
The academic Spanish Program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University has been around
since the early 1980s. It started with one section of Basic Spanish, and it has grown to meet the increasing needs of language students of the 21st century. We presently offer Basic Spanish courses at the Langley, Richmond and Surrey campuses, and Intermediate Spanish and Advanced Spanish at the Surrey campus.

Did You Know That...
  • Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world after Chinese?
  • Spanish is the official language of 21 countries with a combined population of around 400 million?
  • Spanish is the fastest growing language in Canada. In the USA, there are more than 40 million Spanish speakers and it will grow to 130 million by 2050.
