Active KPU
The Six Week Fitness Challenge!
Kwantlen's six week fitness tracking challenge, Active KPU has officially come to an end for the fall semester. This year we had 167 people register for the challenge, and many millions of steps taken throughout the 6 weeks. The 2011 Active KPU Challenge winner is Sibeal Foyle from the faculty of Fine Arts. This is the second time Sibeal has won a Kwantlen Recreation Fitness Challenge, as she won last fall's "President's Challenge". Kwantlen School of Business Student Aishah Muhammad, and Admissions Coordinator Cindy Bilow rounded out the top three competitors. The team competition was won by The Research Office, who narrowly edged out Fine Arts and the Library.
Congratulations to all the Active KPU participants for your commitment to getting active and improving your health over the past six weeks. You have demonstrated that Kwantlen students and employees care about health and wellness and having services and programs that motivate and reward your efforts.
The StepsOut website will remain open for your use until August 2012 so keep on stepping!
