The associate degrees signify completion of the first two years of a Bachelor of Science. As an associate degree graduate, you may directly enter third year science at UBC, SFU, UVic, UNBC, Thompson Rivers University, Royal Roads University, University College of the Fraser Valley or Malaspina University College. With careful planning (including bridging courses) you may also enter the Business degree program at Kwantlen.

THE 'AHA!' MOMENT
Suzanne Pearce, M.Sc., is the recipient of an award from NISOD - an international organization of more than 600 post-secondary institutions - recognizing her teaching excellence and promotion of student success. Though the honour is one of many for the Kwantlen Chemistry faculty member, it isn't awards that inspire her enthusiasm for education. Says Pearce, "Seeing the 'aha!' moment in a student's eyes, watching a student succeed at their dream of becoming a science teacher when they started out intimidated and unconfident in a prep-level course... these are some of the things that inspire, sustain and renew my excitement for what I do."
