Assessment & Testing Services
General Information:
Welcome to Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Assessment & Testing Services Department. Testing is required for entrance into a variety of programs at Kwantlen. The tests being used are not examinations; they are designed to help the student determine their appropriate placement levels for admission to courses or programs that have special prerequisites.
We administer Placement Tests for the following areas:
Tests booked through Enrolment & Registrar Services:
- English Test (EPT)
- Math Test (MPT)
- English as a Second Language Testing (ELST)
- KIST Testing
- ACP Assessment Testing
- Trades/Vocational Tests (Reading Comprehension & Vocational Math)
Tests booked through Assessment & Testing Services:
- Typing Tests (Book through Surrey Campus only - by appointment.)
- Invigilations (or proctoring) for other institutions. (Online tests are only offered at the Surrey Campus.)
- Out-of-town testing (for students wishing to study at Kwantlen who do not reside in the Lower Mainland.)
- Fraser Valley Distance Education School (Please email/call to book an appointment.)
- Foodsafe (Please call/email to book an appointment.)
- Registered Educational Savings Plan Testing (Surrey campus only, by appointment.)
